Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions about CrowdProof, AI agents, pricing, and more.
What is CrowdProof?
CrowdProof is a social simulation platform that lets you test ideas with AI-powered crowds before you launch. You input your content, whether that is a product announcement, pricing change, or marketing message, and watch hundreds of AI agents react, debate, and form opinions in real time. This gives you insight into how real people might respond, without the cost and delay of traditional market research.
How do the AI agents work?
Each agent has a unique personality defined by the OCEAN model (Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness, Neuroticism), a background archetype (e.g., "Early Adopter" or "Skeptical Consumer"), and a consistent communication style. Agents read your content, form initial opinions based on their personality, then interact with each other. They can be persuaded, get into debates, amplify content, or change their minds over multiple rounds of interaction.
How accurate are the simulations?
CrowdProof simulations are directional, not predictive. They show you the range of likely reactions, the arguments people will make, and where opinion clusters might form. Think of it as a stress test for your messaging. Our customers report that key objections and viral moments identified in simulations frequently appear in real launches. That said, no simulation can perfectly predict human behavior, and results should be used alongside other research methods.
What can I use CrowdProof for?
Common use cases include testing product announcements before launch, previewing pricing changes, evaluating marketing copy, anticipating PR crises, A/B testing messaging variations, and understanding how different audiences (tech community vs. general public) might react to the same news. Some customers also use it to analyze competitor announcements or simulate hypothetical scenarios.
How much does CrowdProof cost?
CrowdProof offers four plans: Free (2 simulations/month, 100 agents), Pro at $39/month (15 simulations/month, 500 agents, God Mode), Team at $99/month (50 simulations/month, A/B testing, collaboration), and Enterprise at $249/month (unlimited simulations, 1000 agents, API access, custom audiences). All paid plans include a 14-day free trial. See the Pricing page for full details.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. All paid plans include a 14-day free trial with full access to features. No credit card required to start. The Free tier is also available permanently with 2 simulations per month, so you can try CrowdProof before committing.
How is my data handled?
Your simulation content and results are private by default. We do not share your data with third parties or use it to train AI models. You can delete your simulations at any time. Enterprise plans include additional security features like SSO/SAML and dedicated infrastructure. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Can I access CrowdProof via API?
Yes. Pro plans and above include API access. You can create simulations, stream results in real time, inject events, and retrieve reports programmatically. This enables integration with CI/CD pipelines, custom dashboards, and automated testing workflows. See the API Reference documentation for endpoints and examples.
Can I create custom audiences?
Enterprise plans support custom audience creation. You can define your own archetypes with specific OCEAN personality profiles, backgrounds, and communication styles. This is useful when your target market does not match our built-in presets. Contact enterprise@crowdproof.xyz to discuss your needs.
How many agents should I use?
It depends on your use case. 100 agents is enough for quick directional feedback. 250 agents is a good default for most simulations, providing diverse reactions and visible faction formation. 500+ agents produces richer data and is recommended for important decisions. Enterprise plans support up to 1000 agents for maximum diversity.
How long does a simulation take?
A typical simulation with 250 agents and 10 rounds completes in 2-3 minutes. Larger simulations with more agents or rounds take proportionally longer. You can watch the simulation unfold in real time via God Mode, or let it run and view the report when complete.
What is God Mode?
God Mode is CrowdProof's real-time visualization interface. You see every agent as a particle in a 3D space, watch them cluster into factions, read their posts in a social feed, and control simulation time (pause, speed up, rewind). You can also inject events mid-simulation to see how the crowd reacts to new information. It is the core CrowdProof experience.
What enterprise features are available?
Enterprise plans include unlimited simulations, 1000 agents per simulation, full API access, custom audience creation, SSO/SAML authentication, unlimited data retention, priority support, and dedicated infrastructure. We also offer custom contracts for organizations with specific compliance or security requirements. Contact enterprise@crowdproof.xyz.
How do I get help?
Email support@crowdproof.xyz for assistance. Pro and Team plans receive response within 24 hours. Enterprise plans include priority support with faster SLAs. You can also join our Discord community at discord.gg/crowdproof to connect with other users and the CrowdProof team.
